5.0 stars on Google from 400+ reviewsWhat an estate cleanout includes
An estate cleanout clears a whole property in one job. We take furniture, beds and mattresses, appliances, clothes, kitchen items, boxes, books, the contents of closets, the garage, the attic, the shed and the yard. You do not need to bag or box anything first. If it is staying, it stays. If it is going, it goes on the truck.
Who calls for an estate cleanout
- Families clearing a parent’s or grandparent’s home after a loss or a move into care
- Landlords and property managers clearing rentals between tenants or after an eviction
- Owners of repossessed and foreclosed homes getting the property ready to sell
- Anyone getting a house ready to sell who needs it empty before photos and showings
How an estate cleanout works
- Walk through or send photos. For a whole house, a free onsite estimate is the best start. For a smaller home or a single floor, photos of every room work well.
- Mark what stays. Before the day, take out what the family wants to keep, or put tape or notes on it. Anything with a note stays put.
- Get your price for the whole job, confirmed before we start.
- Pick the day that suits your family and your schedule.
- We clear the house room by room, including the garage and storage spaces, and haul everything away.
What an estate cleanout costs
An estate cleanout is priced by how much room everything takes in our 15-foot truck, so a half-full condo costs far less than a packed four-bedroom house. Heavy contents like a piano, a workshop full of tools or a garage of old paint cans change the picture, so walk us through them. For a whole house, the free onsite estimate gives you one number for the whole job. The junk removal prices page explains load pricing step by step.
Before you call, a few tips
- Look for papers first. Check drawers, closets and the pockets of coats for wills, deeds, bank statements, photos and keys.
- Decide on the valuables. Jewelry, collectibles and anything the family might want to sell should be set aside before the day.
- Ask about hazardous items. Paint, chemicals, fuel and old pool supplies are common in garages. We cannot take those, and our page on what junk removal won’t take explains where they can go.
Older Central Florida homes
A home that has been lived in for many years often has a full garage, a shed out back, a screened porch with furniture, and closets that have not been opened in years. Plan for those spaces. If there is an old shed falling apart in the yard, we can take that down too with shed removal, and the garage cleanout is often the biggest single part of the job.
Where we do estate cleanouts
We clear estates across Orlando and in Winter Park, Sanford, DeLand, Deltona, Daytona Beach and the cities around them.
