Why old sheds come down

In Central Florida, wood sheds take a beating. Summer rain, humidity and termites rot floors and walls, metal sheds rust through at the base, and a storm can twist a weak shed into a hazard. Sheds usually come down because they are falling apart, because it is in the way of a new one, or because a house is being sold and the buyer does not want it.

How shed removal works

1. Send photos of the shed from a few sides, the inside, and the path from the shed to the driveway.
2. Get your price. We confirm it before we start, or offer a free onsite estimate for bigger structures.
3. We empty it if the contents are going too.
4. We take it down, load every piece and haul it away, including the roofing, siding and floor.

What shed removal costs

Shed removal is priced by how much room the material takes in our 15-foot truck, plus the work of taking the shed apart. Size, materials and access all matter: a small resin shed near the driveway is a quick job, while a large wood shed on a slab in the back corner of the yard is a bigger one. Permits and utilities

Some cities, counties and homeowner associations have rules about taking down structures, so check with your building department or HOA if you are unsure. If the shed has electrical wiring or plumbing, have an electrician or plumber disconnect it before the day.
